Our home has a gas fireplace from the previous owners that had been purchased and installed by a Menomonie company. It was acting up, and this company put us on their schedule, but we had to wait seven weeks! Decided to call Fireside since we live in Eau Claire. The receptionist was patient, helpful, and although FHH doesn't work with our brand, she put me on the schedule anyway. I don't remember the tech's name, but he was on time, polite, took off his shoes, worked carefully, and with the help of his phone, he was able to google for the information he needed, and he fixed our fireplace (and cleaned it, too). Gave me a few tips on how to maintain the unit, which was appreciated. The service visit was probably about 40 minutes and the charge was $241 (no parts involved except batteries). That seems like a LOT, but the receptionist did tell me how much it would cost in advance. Fingers crossed I don't need any other service on the fireplace for years to come because it's expensive to hire help, but FHH did do a good job and I'm pleased with that.
